Anyone bought new kit off Ebay??

Has anyone bought a new lens off ebay before?
I have seen the 55-300 nikon VR lenses there for 230 notes which seems reasonable, as long as the gear is all ok!!

It's a bit pot luck with ebay. The seller you linked to seems to have pretty good feedback. There are plenty of negative feedbacks but I think that's inevitable when selling that much gear. Do they have an option for paying by credit card? That may give you a little extra protection.

Always look at the feedback score first, then what country they are in, and remember that buyers are seriously covered by eBay, plus, buying on-line you are covered by law and can return anything for any reason for a full money back within 7 days of reciept.

I've bought loads of stuff on ebay, got let down once, ebay refunded me and persued the seller.

Choose a UK seller with 99%+ feedback and you'll be fine.
