Aberdeenshire car photoshoot locations.

I'm going to be taking my mates Evo for a photoshoot in the next week.

I can think of one or two good locations, but I was wondering if any of you have others to share? If you had any pictures to post along with the locations, that would be brilliant.

Lochnagar (inland to the West) is pretty spectacular. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lochnagar plus type Lochnagar into google images!

Also, just to the north of the city you have a load of great beaches / dunes (you can get the car pretty close as there are car parks in the dunes), think they're called 'Balmedie' but again google images is your friend.

Years ago - you used to be able to drive down onto the piers that are on the Torry side of the harbour entrance.

I guess it depends upon what you're type of shot your after. Industrial - just head down towards the harbour (Hall Russell used to have some huge sheds or head out to Dyce and get friendly with your local wellhead specialist with lots of bits in their yard.

I recall the road heading into Kirkhill Forest (at the bottom of the Tyrebagger) being a little twisty. Might be pretty crap at this time of year though - better with the sun breaking through the trees.
