Cheapish Suction Mounts for a dSLR

I need a suction mount for my Sony Alpha A230. I want to use it at low speeds on the bodywork of cars etc, but my budget is very limited...

Anyone got anything to recommend?

Ive got a Fat Gecko mount, hardly used it to be honest but everyone always speaks very highly of them.

Was quite cheap, got it from Warehouse Express.

If you search for Fat Gecko on Flickr you will see an example of the pics taken using it.

Look at that pic, they should have called it the Fat Cocko!

That's what I'm using too Tom. It's hung off the back of a Murcielago with my heavy DSLR and carried a video camera on a Viper at 135mph on the quarter mile plus run umpteen drift laps at various events. Put it on right and you're getting all your kit back in one piece no worries.



They also do a single cup version but it's much lighter rated and for the sake of £10 or £15 it's best avoided for a DSLR.

Under £50 from memory.
