So who got soaking wet this weekend?

Went out to the North West rally stages yesterday (Sat) and got absolutely drenched through, as did the camera.
As normal for the Blackpool and Fleetwood areas it was battered by cold, wind and rain.
Did my best for about 4 hours of stood around trying to get good shots but as soon as I couldn't feel my hands thought enough was enough. Plus the camera was quite literally dripping wet.
So here are a few that I thought were alright but nothing special (first time for motorsport photography) but it's all a learning curve

Alright those, you're a braver man than me for getting your camera out in that weather.
I went over Fri night and didn't bother getting my camera out due to all the sand blowing about, it
was like being stood in a sand blasting machine.
Was going to go to Fleetwood Sat morning but decided against it after getting a weather
update from somebody helping on the event.

Didn't bother Friday night but we did about 4 hours at Fleetwood then back to the Prom for the Sat afternoon stages.
Not had chance to sort through pics yet.

That sounds like it could have been my dad and me, both wearing hi-viz jackets to keep the wind out, I had a 70-200 F4IS on one body and a 24-105 on the other, both on an Op Tech dual harness.14-7 said:

Nice photos. Typical British rallying weather. The Bajan's have much better conditions...here's one of car no.3 in the sunshine.
