April Competition - "Emotion in the inanimate" - Discussion

The theme for April's competition is a take on something I've found myself shoot pics of for the last few years, "Emotion in the inanimate", i.e. finding a way to make an inanimate object look as though it's a living, breathing thing capable of conveying emotion etc, good luck everyone...

And this is the thread for ideas, discussion and whatever else comes along....

Can you interpret the theme or is strictly making inanimate things have emotion themselves?

Simple way to interpret, make something incapable of feeling, life, emotion, movement appear to have it...
