more photoshop help please?

Would be most grateful if anyone with a few minutes to spare could please take a look at this:



and change the colour of the car to a really dark purple, similar to the left-most column here:


Pic is the largest I have, I'm afraid.

Wow that's a tricky way!

JUst create a new copy layer, then replace colour to the extent you think is right.

then create another layer (CTRL+SFT+ALT+E)

Then use an eraser where you don't want it...

it's an old landy - it needs to have the look like the paint has been applied with a roller (which generally it has been)
