A Cheeky Question...

Hi all,

I was wondering if any PH 'togs have a Gorilla Pod or similar that they would be willing to lend to me for a long weekend.

In two weeks I'm doing the Three Peaks Challenge and would like to have a shot of the entire group on top of each mountain and will obviously need a tripod to do this, I don't however want to lug a full size tripod up 3 mountains!

I live in Haslemere, Surrey. So if anyone is willing and in the vicinity you would be doing me a massive favour! I will offer beer of your choice to anyone who can help

Buy one yourself they are not that expensive.

If you can't get hold of one, then I'll give you the cheapskate alternative.

Take a spare sock and fill it with sand/gravel. You can balance the camera on top of something handy and then us the sock to "fine tune" things.

I would recommend not wearing the sock for hiking until after it has been washed.

That'd be great! Where about are you based and what is your preferred brand of beer?

That seems like a good deal, still, seems a shame to buy something I only want for a weekend and probably wouldn't have a use for afterwards.

Thank you very much, that is very good of you. As it happens I am doing the challenge for charity, and a cause i feel strongly about, so if its okay by you I will pop something in the pot for that?

Looks like you are sorted but for future reference the knock-offs are very cheap, i've used one quite abit with my 450d.
