Top seat belt Mounting

I'd be a little wary of doing that, the mounting post is only set into the fibreglass and any increase in height would increase the leverage on that joint in the event of an accident unless perhaps you could brace or strengthen it somehow

"Messing" with seatbelt fixings could be an insurance issue if the worst ever happens ????

You have to sit the seat a bit further forward than the originals.
Unbolt & turn around the lower seat belt mounting inside the sill.
'Adjust' the seat belt stalk on the transmission tunnel by holding a piece of wood over the stalk and using a 2lb adjuster adjust it so its as flush as it can get.

On the seats remove the cover at the bottom of the backrest that goes against the transmission tunnel, and remove the seatbelt buckle. (Drill out the rivets).

Be sure to swear a lot fitting them, and doubt the whereabouts of its father many times!

I made some seatbelt guides that stopped the seat leaning back on the seatbelt - I'll try and find the thread.

They do go but are a pig to fit.
The chrome backrest lever will be tight against the inside of the sill.
