oil pressure sender

hi all

i've gone through the steve heath manual and ford sierra and cant find any info on where to find
the oil pressure sender on the 2.9 v6 ?

does anyone know the ford part number for this so i can source one from my local car part factor

Have you tried the search engine - there have been a number of posts about the oil pressure sender

Do you mean literally "where to find it" ?

Its near side front of engine, below exhaust manifold.

Not a Ford part, they used a basic on/ff pressure switch to operate a low pressure warning light. As suggested, try the search, plenty of previous info and links to suitable items on Ebay.

One terminal has to be connected to earth. If you want the exact replacement I think TVR car parts do them for about £65.
