Spent all day looking for some V8s diff carrier bolts, anybody know who has them in stock.

Which ones - the two through the bushes / chassis?

I cut longer ones down - I couldn't get the exact size.

Are you sure they arnt metric???????????

Have you tried either of these ?

No gaurantees but they come reccommended fron American Car Forums ( Don't think America's gone metric yet ?)

Thanks for replys, def 1/2" norm.

They are imperial.
Alan I had to use a half height nyloc on the diff side where the breather is, so you have to cut that bolt down a fraction more to clear the diff bulge for the breather (this is as it was originally). A full height nyloc fits ok the other side as per the pics.

Chris Thanks for that, going down to the shop today to do the engine mounts but if I have enough time I will start fabricating the diff mounts as well, I had the 2.8 mounts , so I need to fabricate some tube uprights for the carrier to bolt onto.

Mike, that number is for Avonmouth, Bristol which is a little bit south of Scotland

Geography was never my strong point, is that why we didn't see the Severn Bridge on our recent Highland Fling
