Hi Damian, you're welcome to "borrow" these if it helps get your car together,

Don't really want to sell them but you could replace them as and when you have time to find a pair, scrapyards, Ebay etc?

HTH Mike

Ally covers nice but rare (last pair I saw on Ebay fetched about £90!)

Ebay - here's a completed listing - look at the price!
More than an indicator!

I am speaking to a supplier at the moment that may be able to cast some with a TVR logo on - watch this space.

I bought some off e-bay a couple of years ago (think they were about £70 or £80) You will need to adapt your alternator bracket or at least persuade it to change shape just a little otherwise it will foul the top of the rocker cover (and I changed the fan belt for a slightly longer one). You can see from the first image how much I adapted the bracket.

They where a lot of work but I like how they look but then I guess they are not to everyone's taste.

I have ground off the Ford logo and placed the new TVR badge in place.

hi thanks for the kind offer I've been shipped out to Vegas for a week so lost 2 weekends so won't be able to get them ready for s club anyway so I may as well visit a few scrapyards when I am back.

Cheers D S3

i have a pair of alloy ones off a granada 2.9 that i squirrelled away years ago when my capri had the 2.8 in it still. i then fitted a 24v so never needed them. if you're genuinely interested let me know/make me an offer. they're filthy but as i remember they're usable and could be cleaned/refinished. i think i have a pair of 24v covers spare somewhere too!

ETA they're the same as these (pre-refurb, obviously!):

I'd not even heard of rocker-box envy until I caught it hehe

Nice finish
