Newbie (ish) owner

Hi all,

After an 18 month search (I have been very fussy!) I am now the proud owner of a bright red S3, so the TVR grin is back!! I have previously owned an S1 and a Chimaera so I am no stranger to these cars and the last year and a half without one has seemed very empty since I sold the chim (its' ability to bankrupt me meant it had to go!)

I found the new S in the classifieds on here and picked it up last weekend and drove 220 miles home without a hitch, roof off of course so that I could hear the lovely sound of that exhaust!! She has only done 43k from new and has had a new back window, re-veneered dash, and a full set of Gaz golds recently fitted and apart from the drivers' seat needing to be re-coloured is in excellent condition, well worth the wait!!

Thanks for the welcome guys and to find out that my car has a brother (or should that be sister?)

I have put my name down to go to SCH so look forward to meeting some of you there, I hope to be there on the Friday night but if not I will arrive in time to start the horseshoe run on the saturday morning.
