Models have arrived!

I am happy to say the model kits have arrived sooner than I expected and I'm very pleased with the V6 'conversion' (even though on the underside of the model it still retains the V8 labelling ) that SMTS have done (see images).
They are likely to be a very limited run (30 or so) as they will only produce them in batches of 10 or more in the future.
I plan to begin packaging them all up this weekend for posting out to you on Monday. For those of you collecting from me in person at SCH you'll unfortunately have to wait until the Sunday (look out for my dark blue S, I'll put a note in the windscreen so you'll know which one).

as good as this is, I must admit I quickly clicked onto this thread hoping that some scantily clad ladies had been organised for the s club meet..........hence left feeling a tad dissapointed

It was taken at S Club 2008 held at the Newark Car Show where we won an award for the best stand at the show. For those that don't know, the organisers from L > R were Mycroft, Miss Kit Kar 2008 (aka Dave M), Kit Kar Kev (the show organiser) Me & Barkychoc.

If this is the case i'll send you a set from one of my own kits and get on to SMTS to get some replacements.
Perhaps I should wait a couple of days just in case there are any more issues. I have to say I didn't check each individual kit but then I didn't think I'd need to!

As it's been many years since I built and painted a model (Airfix) any tips on which paint to use, primer, brush or spray etc?
