Good video, nice to see some good footage in decent quality - makes a change from a lot of the other stuff on youtube.

And I think the S sounds better (though the Sagaris does sound good).

Funnily enough I was passengering in a nice red S2 today, accompanying young Nick ('Kingfisher's' son) to the rolling road, in his newly re-built car.

I can confirm that it made a healthy 172.5 flywheel bhp, and from memory, around 180ft/lbs of torque.

Also she drives absolutely spot-on on the Gaz Golds, with comfy firm ride, and brakes fantastic with the discs all round.

I'm starting to seriously consider an 'S' now.

- Just hope my Wedge buddies don't read this.

I don't think TVR have ever bettered the exhaust note they got on the big wedges.

Luke, if its had a recent rebuild then is it something simple, oil must be getting into the combustion chamber from somewhere, so if the rings are good then it must be getting in from above, so valve stem seals?
if they were replaced then overfilled with oil? crankcase breather blocked or gunged up, maye worth checking the inside of the plenum for excessive oil residue, and the condition of the spark plugs, and oil level.
