Hands Free phone holder location
Discussion
Now maybe I'm being a bit thick but I'm finding it very difficult to find somewhere convenient to put my phone holder that will not look crap in my S3's interior.
I could put it next to the drivers side air vent but I think it obscures the lovely wallnut veneer switch panel.
Any ideas anyone.
ps.. phone is a Motorola V525 so quite small
Ta
Pookie.

I got myself a little magnetic holder (about £5 from Carphone Warehouse IIRC) which holds the phone perfectly, as long as you stick the little metal strip on the back of the phone, and not out of sight under the battery cover as suggested.
I've then stuck the magnet itself to the right of the dials (it's the little round black thing in the picture):
It's not particularly obvious, and doesn't spoil the lines of the dash IMHO.
Cheers

why not get a bluetooth phone..... no need for mounting it at all and if you programme the headset for voice regonition you can make all the calls you need without touching the phone

and as the earpiece is shoved right in your ear you may even be able to hear it!!
Might be better with one of the ones that has the boom that reaches round towards your mouth. Mine is the type that just ends on your cheek, so the wind noise gets to it before my voice does, however much I shout!
