'S' smoking on the M25!

Sure I saw a red 'S' smoking near the M3/M25 junction on Sunday afternoon, around 3pm. 
Unfortunately I was going the wrong way so couldn't stop, owner had the bonnet up and there was redish smoke pouring out, there was a horrible burning smell across the motorway.
I hope he managed to put out any fire, anyone on here?
