Long Hard Slog

Hi All,
Well after a long hard slog, one which I don't want to do again, I have finally got the old girl back together, Today I got the body back on and the bonnet in place (temp) to see how much room there was from the engine to the bonnet, 1 1/2 " at the lowest point.
I have to do some more work to the chassis, fixing the fuel pipe and brake mounts, all in all I thought I would never get this far, each thing I fitted something ells needed modifying, I can say if you are thinking of replacing your engine, THINK very carefully before you start as it may take more to do than you think.
Thanks to all who helped answer all my questions, now all I have to do is take everything off and finish the chassis and powder coating.
Still to do is

New loom
paint
and about 100 other little jobs I don't know of yet

I just could not get anything done at home, weather and light were just not on my side, now I can now go down through the week and spend a couple of hours and not have to cover everything up when I finish, Started on a new list of jobs to do, so its back to the workshop tonight to make start.
