Caught in heavy rain for the first time

Whilst moving my S2 yesterday to a new address I had to drive through very heavy rain for 30 minutes which was a first for me since my ownership, this is what happened.
Rain dripped down from the top of the wind screen in line with where both the roof panels join behind the mirror, the window seal looks ok and both roof panels were renewed 3 years ago and have been treated with water repellant spray. Also the windscreen wipers were so slow taking about 3 seconds to wipe each way, my battery is good as is my alternator so could it be an earth problem or tired wiper motor?
This morning when I started her up my oil pressure shot up to 75 so I presume its from the rain getting in to the electrics as the sender unit is new.
It's MOT is due next week but due to my house move I'm not going to get time to sort last years advisory regarding the hand brake being next to useless although I did remove the drums a few months ago and the brake shoes and cylinders look fine and the hand brake cable isnt seized, I did a search on here and found a post where the wheel cylinders were seized.
Any advice on the wiper and leak would be appreciated.

I would guess that the screen bonding is breaking down, and water is getting in between the screen and the body.

I've had this problem since I got mine (8 years!) and I think I've cracked it now - I scraped out some of the bonding, and put several doses of seek & seal in, a couple of days apart each time. Then I resealed the edge with Sikaflex, and it seems to have worked, mostly - I still have one tiny bit above the drivers side sun visor that I am working on now.

The corect solution, of course, is to take the screen out and re-bond it - but that means either getting a new screen, or risk cracking the existing screen getting it out. I've been given a name of a man locally who seems to be able to do it, so I might get that done over the winter.

Wiper speeds are Slow - very slow - stop. But 3 seconds seems excessive, speak to Adrian Venn, Exactly TVR he is the wiper king!!!!!

I had a leak that was dripping from the same place. Turned out to be the roof+door seal that needed replacement. Water was getting under the seal then under the vinyl lining on the inside of the screen.

Thanks for the info, she is now in her new home so once I get some time for house duties I shall investigate plus try to get the handbrake working for mot.
When I sold my property in April due to divorce I thought I would have to sell her as my previous place had a large double garage but found a place with a fantastic garage although the property needs a lot of work.
