car dust cover

I've washed and waxed my baby and she's sitting in the garage as the weather is a bit too ....errr, “British Summer Time ish”. Unfortunately the power of the rain beating down on my garage roof is covering my baby with dust! Can anyone recommend a relatively cheap interior dust cover that would fit my S2?

HWMBO I may be thick but I don't get it !!

For what its worth I always use an old bed spread and have use the same one for 29 years now !!

The Leven car cover is tailor made for the S and completely waterproof.

I wouldn't buy a cheap cover as they tend to move and damage the laquer (did that on my cerb). I have bought super king sheets and put them on under a cheap car cover to stop the chaffing but they end up retaining the damp

As its in a garage anyway and you are just protecting it from dust and there should be no problem with wind blowing a cover all over and scuffing the paint, I would recommend an Argos Outdoor cover, the blue ones, they are cheap and ideal for the use you intend...

My S2 lived under a Metex indoor dust cover for 19 years and I'm still using it (the cover, not the S2).
I bought a more expensive semi-tailored cover a few years ago, but it wasn't as good as the Metex.

That's the one I've got. It's breathable as well so it won't hold the damp on your bodywork like a sheet will. Also consider putting a de-humidifier in the garage during the winter. You'll be surprised how much water they take out of the air.

Not a lot of use if you've got an inch gap around your up 'n over door like mine !
