What would you pay today for an S ?

Looking up the price of the "driving lamp" bonnet on my S3 got me thinking if the car cost £17545 in 1990 what does that equate to today?

Well, after playing around on a few web sites seems to average out around £29000 !

Maybe a more interesting comparison would be to see what alternatives seventeen and a half grand would have bought in 1990

The on-line inflation calculator I used shows £17,454 of 1990 being worth a few bob short of £32,000.

Another interesting thought would be what can you get for £32k today and what would you go for?

Had a go in one of these (as a passenger). Truly crazy, More roller coaster than car!
