Red S - Westerliegh Nr Bristol

Spotted what looked like a red TVR S involved in a "head on" on the Westerliegh Road Near Yate/Bristol. Police and ambulance in attendance hope all parties are OK and it's not too serious. The car look very worse for wear.

My car took clean out by a women driver coming out of henfield road yesterday no one was badly hurt, major damage to front n/s and bonnet not happy nige.

Really sorry, accidents are an awful experience but in your pride and joy even more gutting.

At least as you say no one hurt (badly) anyway. Good luck with it all.

Bugger, you must be gutted. Hope insurance comes through and it gets sorted. Glad you're OK of course!

Those photographs are horrendous. So fortunate that everyone is ok and such a shame about your TVR. Good luck repairing/replacing as insurance sees fit.

Jeez - startling images, good news no serious injuries. We all make mistakes no matter how infuriating hers was and not to mention dangerous, but the key is no one seriously hurt. Metal (& fibreglass) can be repaired/replaced and yes ensuing battle with the insurance will rage but better that than months of trips to hospital or worse still making other arrangements.

I got into the habit of driving with dipped beam most of the time - lots of cars now have day running lights and it can't do any harm to be seen.

thanks for all the replies, and yes i am gutted as it took me over a year to find this car with full tvr service history and invoices over £20K including a full respray 3 years ago at haynes motor museum 3K, anyway yes the women driver was fully at fault and i do have a very sore neck but still alive,lucky for me i have three witnesses and a full police report saying the women driver was at fault,but i think the car maybe a total loss i will find out this week but my insurance does state i have the right to retain the vehicle if it is a total loss,not sure about the bonnet thou as its the later type the main damage was to the n/s front suspension upper and lower wishbones totally shot (can u still buy them) tvr parts i think cheers for now nige.
