...as it does to all S owners.
I need to take the body off to 'sort' my chassis
The plan is to completely strip the car down, have the chassis shot-blasted & powder coated & then re-build the car.
I am giving myself 18 months to complete the project - so no car next summer
but it'll all be worth it in the end 
(or so I keep telling myself).
Also, I will be posting regular updates & photos as I go along - hopefully they may prove to be useful to others who wish to 'have a go' at things themselves - unfortunately, I'm not that 'technical' with computers so don't know how to set up a blog or website such as Mark & Tvrgit have done (both of which I will be referring to
)
I will still be attending events next year, such as Chatsworth & S Club, so will no doubt see people around (might need to beg a passenger ride for the S Club hoon though).
Finally, I will be posting an invitation to a 'body-off' party (well, tea & biscuits anyway) in the near future - probably for a weekend in October - all volunteers will be more than welcome

Jaye, I've got a few months on you already for my rebuild but to work on the S3 I'm travelling 120 miles, so I can only select long weekends. Lets see who can get back on the road first. Personally, I am hoping for it to go to next years LeMans Classic (1st weekend of July), even if it is not totally finished.
I'll probably look back on this post with a sheepish smile as I miss this date by a long way but, hey ho!

Firstly many, many thanks to my helpers today - Dave (Dave M), Jon (bmbjmh), Carl (ceejay73), Paul (mate & fellow TVR owner of Dave's) & Danny (my mate & very useful guy to know for all things fibreglass ).
Also, huge thanks to Revlimiter (the Mrs) for providing coffee, tea & bacon butties to the workers

Standard issue set of holes, are you repairing yourself? If not cant recommend Adrian@ too highly, a litttle waya away from you but his work is excellent and prices very fair.
One word of caution, I thnk you have used masking tape to label wiring, watch it dosent loose its 'stick' or have the writing fade!!

Great Pics Jaye, Love the picture of the car in the garage - looks like its flying on its own without you even driving! Good job the bolts wern't loose on our last escapade otherwise I can imagine it would look like something out of back to the future when you passed 85mph over the yumps on the rollercoaster! Good luck mate, hope it all go's well.
