quick question to those who've taken their S to Europe

where an earth do i stick the headlight deflectors?

I can't find the headlamp pattern on my destructions from Halfords

I have never bothered with them on my TVR or my modern civic and I have been to europe in both cars this year.

Don't worry, when we crossed the channel on the 2010 euro trip I think every car had them on differently!

mine seemed to work fine in the boot
just turn the auto adjustments down a bit i think
only on S1 s

Depending on your headlamp make I think it is Halfords / AA/ Eurolights diagram no. 150 for 7" round headlights as fitted to Land Rover Defender etc. Hope this helps. Should be on page 2 of the fitting instructions, I usually use deflectors in Europe but it is some years since I have taken a car with such lights. By law, headlamps have to be used in rain in France so if you think it will be fine it's your call!

if you look at your head lights they have a shape to 1 side cover that up
i never bother

Longers - I remember that..every car was different

...caught you in the act.

I remeber that the Halfords thing did indicate how to fit. If it feels the wrong side then it is OK, ie remember that the reflector aims the light and not the bulb...
