Body lift help needed south birmingham 24th Sept

Title says it all collecting the new project 13th (I hope) and then planning to lift body 24th.

Need 4 to 5 strong(ish) bodies to help. anyone out there ready to help please?

Joe, given Watford's current form wouldn't you get more enjoyment from helping Norman...? (And that comes from a someone who had 10 or 11 consecutive season tickets at Vicarage Rd "xx" years ago! )

Hi Norman,
if all else fails and Watford et al are a bigger draw than a TVR there's always the 1 man method that I perfected last weekend on my 3000S. I had a couple of friends volunteer but couldn't find a 3rd or a reserve so being impatient to see what the chassis was like I started a partial lift with jacks and bits of 4x2. As this progressed I could see a way in which I could get it off all by myself - which I did! If you're interested I could post a picture sequence.

Am planning to collect the car next Tuesday, then need a few days to do some preperation eg bonnet removal etc, so the 24th is on at 11:00. Coffee will be available.

As you know I have been one man lifting M series cars for 30 years....there is so much more to the S ....apart from that, yours is almost there anyway.

If the S series is so much different from the M series then I think it best to post on the Classics forum since I was refering to my 3000S. Give me a while to sort out the picture sequence then check the Classics!
