S2 2.9 1990 Water Pump mounting

I have just bought my first TVR , an S2 2933cc. 1990 . Put it into my local garage to fix the blowing manifold, who found the water pump was leaking. Turns out the aluminium plate with a hose attachment between the pump and the block is at fault. This I am told is no longer available, can anyone offer ideas or advice please?
As long as its the 2.9 its all in one piece, does your garage know what they are doing????

I am in Stratford on Avon. I have printed off the eBay details you recommended and will drop them in to garage in morning, thank you for the information, and such a quick response. Will confirm on here the success that I expect. I will definitely be a regular on this forum with such a great support base.

If you look at this photo here you'll see the water pump - it's the brand new shiny bit, I had only just changed it. That's the bit Gerald identified
Here's the same area with the water pump removed:
You'll see the main hose disconnected at the bottom there, but there are another two hoses (one of them is hidden by the end of the exhaust in that photo) which aren't connected to the pump, but behind it. Those photos, I hope, show that is a separate housing bolted to the front of the engine and cylinder heads.
That's not just a spacer plate, that's the timing chain cover - I don't know if Ford still stock them, but that's what your garage says you need.
It might be worth investigating if it's possible to do an alu-weld repair or something before you go looking for a replacement.

Hi, I am in process of joining the TVR owners club but it seems access to members area takes 4 days, I am getting a little desperate to get this housing from where ever I can, does anyone reading this have access to possible suppliers? I have included the FORD parts manual diagram in case it helps. Im told genuine Ford item is about £90 but obsolete. I could add a finders fee.
I am very new to S2 ownership so I am rather timid about raising my head above the parapet. on the couple of occasions I have done so all I have demonstrated is my total ignorance, so please forgive me if I am wrong. But from memory ( i am at work) the hose connection on the nearside of the timing cover appears to bolt on to the back of the cover. It might be an idea to see if this small piece can be unbolted as it might be easier to repair or replace than the entire cover. If this is a nonsense suggestion I appologise.
I will be calling in to my garage buddies and see the damage for myself. I may have to go for Aluminium Welding for which I have got a couple of offers, depending on the number of bits the housing has crumbled into. I just want the car back on the road before the snow getts too deep!! But I will look into the hose bolt-on arrangement, that may make life a little easier, Thanks for taking the time to offer help!

Norman, Is your engine the same as mine with the separate housing or is it the previous one with the water pump all in one? Cos I would like to keep the original engine as it is such a low miler, if I can, andt just exchange the broken bit, it is just the outlet pipe fitting that has fallen apart so may be able to sleeve it.

Previous advice given to you has obviously been confusing. All of the 2.9 Cologne engines have the same separate water pump and timing chain cover as shown in my photos. Any previous advice you have received, that they are all in one, was mistaken. There is no other version.Thanks for that TVRGIT. OK so Norman if you are in possession of a 2.9 cologne version as in TVRGIT s photos with the housing intact you have a sale. I will speak to a guy I know about transporting the engine. Unless you have the necessary? I would pay petrol costs.
