Steering Wheel Boss for S2 (S1.5)

Can anyone help me? I have just bought a TVR Personal steering wheel which has the 6 bolt fitment, to replace my old wooden 9 bolt set up.
Can anyone tell me the best place to get the right boss to fit my car and new wheel? I bought a boss from Bell Hill Garage, but it doesn't fit. I have tried the usual breakers Douglas Valley etc but with no luck.
I believe the steering column is from a Sierra, but even Ford parts department will not confirm and don't seem to be all that helpful.
Has anyone out there done this 'simple' conversion to their car, and could give me some advice? Part number etc.
