Ball Joint Re-grease

The steering has felt a bit stiff on coccasions recently so decided to investigate yesterday. The rack checked out ok, very smooth and no play whatsoever. The ball joints and track rod ends however were all found to contain the last remains of dried up grease. Not surprising realy, 20 year old car and no idea if or when the joints were changed. Cleaned them all out, checked for play, re-greased then refited the boots and what a difference. Steering is much lighter and the ride is better too.
