As im half way through the front end rebuild now i just wonderd if any
of u guys have fitted the steve heath ARB Drop Links your thoughts and views please nige.

I fitted my bersion version and found no difference but I dont drive on the limit

I fitted them to mine and am very happy with them. I can't say I've noticed any difference in the ride but getting the ARB on and off is easier and they do look good.

Have to agree with the above.

I fitted them as part of a chassis refurb/rebuild as the rubber on the old drop links was shot. I guess if you were inclined you could make them yourself and save a few quid as Norman and others have done, or just bite the bullet if time is important. To be honest the list of jobs I had during the refurb meant I was happy to pay just to tick another one off.

Also made my own, fitted whilst doing complete suspension overhaul so hard to tell if any noticeable benefit over standard links.

A lot of folk do sing the praises of these type of links (particularly on Chimaera forum) but personnally I think part of it is "I've spent money, fitted new bits, it must be better and, of course, if you've replaced knackered rubber links with spherical joints or new rubber it should feel better.

Since this picture was taken I have tapped a thread on the roll bar ( as Normans) to take a nut and done away with the split pin and piece of rubber pipe spacer arrangement.
