Call them this morning, seem alright.
Their offer finishes on Dec 13th but for some colours may be before as they will possibly run out of powder.
They can't do the standard TVR S wheel as a diamond cut as this will need spinning up on a lathe or similar but they do blast and coat, and they do have a bright chrome type finish (though they say that if the wheel is badly corroded then the finish may not last.

Well, just got back from City Powder Coating and they were very helpful.
Lee, the young lad that showed me round, was patient and helpful. Showed me tha various colours and pointed out the pitfalls with the various finishes.
Some of the work they had completed and ready for collection about looked excellent.
He pointed out that on particularly corroded standard rims like mine the black chrome finish may be a problem but I decided to take the punt. I can always get them redone and at 20 large per wheel its not bad.
Just about any colour is available but they can't do two tone.
Turn round is about two to three days. I'll post a few pictures when I get them back.

Surely it was £140 was per wheel?! When I shopped around for mine a couple of years ago the place I was recommended to use quoted a very reasonable (or so I thought!) £60 per wheeel in a standard finish or £80 in the shadow chrome which I went for. The latter was extra because more than 1 paint colour and multiple layers applied to get the "shadow" look.
If done properly they shouldn't need lacquering and it'll only come off again anyway. Different story if they were actually polished cos they'd corrode very easily and would take lots of effort to keep them shiny
