If like me you don't carry a spare wheel not even a space saver, it's probably wise to carry a can of inflator/sealer. It's been useful in the past but not for me, usually other people with punctures who I work with. However, they can get their own now as it was getting rather expensive as nobody ever replaced my can after it fixed their puncture!

Uh-huh - is that what the ladeez say to you??

I always keep latex gloves in my boot in case you have to delve into the engine or change a tyre and you don't want dirty hands. Alternatively wipes are a good idea, plus kitchen roll and a maglite. Oooh and I also have a windscreen repair kit in my boot.

I always carry:-
Tyre weld
string
cable ties
leatherman
maglite
RAC card and mobile
Fire extinguisher

So far not needed any of this, but it's only a matter of time I suppose.

Rubber gloves - kinky
Small bag of salt - ideal for mixing with water and washing the oil off your hands!

Works even better with Fairy Liquid, though I don't carry that! Besides the salt is good for de-icing the road in front and behind the wheels when you park up in winter.

Incase of punctures I a small compressor that runs off the lighter socket. It only cost £5.99 at the Shell garage and can get me home in the event of a slow puncture. It only the size of a pint pot and weigh a few pounds so much better than lugging the spare.
