Left my lights on for a few days and obviously the battery is completely dead! I am charging it up but I guess it could do with a new one anyway, which battery do I need, anyone know?

Does anyone know why the TVR S Sreies parts list on TVRCC South Wales website was removed??? It says the chairman of the TVRCC asked for it to be removed, what has he got against S owners?

Thanks

Mike

Hello...............

I went to ATS in town and they had one on the shelf. If you have no luck on here I'll take a look at mine tonight, were is your battery located?

Can confirm mine is running with a Halfrauds HB 069 and has been for over three years with no problems. It still turns over like a Fiat 500 with 2000A through its starter .

Thanks guys, Yes you are right the 069 is the standard V8S battery, a quick run home at lunch for a look in the bible confirmed that. SH advises using the larger capacity 072 used in the Grif/Chim so just bought one and it starts much better, the battery must have been on its way out, or like Harry said maybe they all do that with the 069. The 069 has an amp crank of only 470 where the 072 is 630 amps, it does make a difference, back to work now in the Tiv
