S Club Heaven 2012
Discussion
Now we are in the new year and I have done my tax return (!) I thought I would remind you all about SCH 2012. This year the event will be from Friday 5th July at the Niagara Sports Club in Sheffield.
Similar format to previous years. Gather on Friday night for beers and camping. Bar will be open and bar food will be available if required. Saturday will be a run out over the Snake pass, stop for lunch and back via the Hope Valley. in the evening we can either have a barbeque or even a sit down leal if people would prefer, but more on this later.
Main show on Sunday will be shared with the South Yorkshire Emergency Services Show, but with plenty of room for anyone who wants to come along for the day.
First time for me organising, Mark Prince has promised to help and I'll be speaking to him in the next week or so. More on details to follow soon, but remember to put the date in your diary.
Still need someone to help with organising the raffle if anyone can find the time.
Many thanks Simon.

Hi Simon, I'm sorry I can't make it either. The two events I enjoy most of all both fall on the same weekend and I'm committed to Cornwall. That said, although there will be a fair few TVRs with us, there have only ever been 2 S's and 1 of those is going to Le Mans I think.
It sounds like a really good plan and having worked on West Street for a few years would have loved to have gone back. Hope all goes well

That's where people collected their dole money from
That's quite right Kev
I was at Cathedral Court, Rockingham House and King's Court on Hanover Way at various times.Oh, and Edward's, Walkabout, Frog and Parrot, Cheshire Cat, Dog and Partridge - these were better offices
Although the road where the Dog was seemed a bit iffy at times!mep12345 said:

Thank Goodness, some people saying they are actually coming. I was beginning to worry!
In the (slightly altered) words of some second rate american actor "you organise it and they will come"
Worked for me
Mark
Look at the Chatsworth Gathering, I started i out for around 30-50 of us, and in 2009 the number of TVRs attending was 676.
I know there will never be as many S Series cars at S Club but on the right day and right place who knows how many you could get.
Good luck Simon, I will try to be there to increase numbers (even if I'm not in an S)

Should fit right in with all us S's. I'll DEAFinitely be there as promised. Save a pitch for my beer tent please Simon.
