snobby posh tvrs

Is it me!!!! Whenever I see another tvr I wave, but I have found that new ones like T350, Tuscan, and cerbs don't bother to wave or acknowegde my geeting. Wedges do, griffs do but not your new shiny ones. Perhaps there not real tvr lovers and so don't recognise a true british sports car when they see one. Are us S drivers to low for them!!!!!! Or is it me!!!!

Must be just you Paul, I dont see many other Tivs, but I regularly see a green Cerb on the way to work and he always waves/flashes!
Mike
No it's not just you.
I've only ever had two Griff's flash and I've never seen another S near me. There is a Wedge 350 not far from me and I came up behind him in my S the other day and flashed and he just ignored me.
Pies lives near me but I've never seen him around to flash at!
There was a local Griff owner who stopped to give me a TVR brochure when he saw me broken down at the side of the road, not to rub salt into sore wounds just to give me something to occupy me whilst the AA man was on his way. Nice chap he was and I have seen his Griff in Roses Garage where I also take my S sometime.

I'd guess there are people with money to spend out there who snap up expensive cars without spending months and years appreciating and reading about the brand beforehand. They might know less about TVR's than ... than me even
and just buy the marque after a few weeks debate, enjoy it, sell it a year or two later, and move onto other things - without becoming aware of ph, the tvrcc and the enthusiasts that wave. Its probably too individual to comment on. Keep flashing, they'll catch on eventually... or think you're a nutter

I was watching the rather cute Vicki Butler-Henderson last night throw a new T350i about, very sexy indeed.
Wouldn't mind one of those at home .....V B-H is rather nice too......
I think if I had +40 grand to blow on a new car it would have to be one of those!
flashers old T350C was a great car. We went on a double date with a couple of air hostesses one weekend down in the west country last year and we took his T350. The weather was awful and the roads flooded at points. Route was cross country and the car was unbelievable. Totally different from the previous era (cerbs & tuscans included!) of TVRs. The handling predictable and well balanced in even the worst conditions. It may not be quite as rapid in a straight line as the cerbs and tuscans, but it would almost certainly be quicker around 99% of tracks and in the real world.
I was really impressed. Stonking motor car.
You folks do not know how lucky you are. Here in holland I've NEVER met another TVR when driving my own. Only at meetings some show up. Driving in my day to day car I've seen about 10 TVR's (only Grifs and Chims) in the wild in the last 3 years.
Collegaes of mine give me an excited call when they see one... (happens twice a year)
Cheers,
Marcel

Two air hostesses, I bet the T350 was a leg opener!
