Need a New Knob

The threaded insert on my gear knob is broken. Anyone got a standard V8S (LT77) one they don’t want?

No but if you go for something aftermarket it isn't metric.

The original gearknob is available from Rimmers for about a fiver new.

On a similar topic I have a knob but it's loose

If anyone happens to have a spare adapter sleeve to fit between a Ford shaft (10mm) and a Momo gear knob (ID ~15.5mm) I'd be delighted to swap some drinks vouchers for it.

One of those times where it's annoying not having a lathe.

Alternatively if anyone knows a good source of a nice wooden knob to fit and match the wooden "Personal" wheel I'd consider that.

My original was plastic and reverse is in the wrong place anyway on that. Rimmers can be expensive. Will have a look tomorrow on phone now and it's a pain on tinternet

Come on guys - it's OK for these V8S hard core types to have death's head gear knobs but us sedate plodders in V6's just need something tasteful & wooden.

My new knob lasted all of 10 days. But then agian it only cost 99p off Ebay. The knob is OK it's the plastic insert which has gone. Any one know what the thread is on an LT77 gear lever, or at least the gear lever TVR fitted to the remote for that 'box? Thanks.
