Intermittent high idle?

Nick's just been out in the S for the first time in a few days, as the weather has being appalling up North, so it's been sat under its cover. Since last being out, the car has started to idle oddly; when he first started it up it idled at 2000rpm, but drove fine. It then idled at 900rpm as per usual, but when he pulled up to get petrol, it idled at 2000rpm again. He's check the throttle, which is fine, and he's recently cleaned the ISCV and fitted a new TPS, so any pointers for where he should start?

Might be a stab in the dark but my odd idle was down to a split in one of the air intake hoses simalar symptoms to you .

He did wonder about an airleak, but can't see anything obvious at the moment (with it being daft oclock), but I'm sure he'll check those tomorrow, as they have recently been on and off a bit with him having the car rolling roaded.

He's fixed it. It was the little screw on the plenum that sits near the throttle linkage; somehow it'd been wound forwards meaning the throttle didn't fully close. Just off for a test drive......
