brake lights

hi everyone todays
electrical niggle is
one rear light only
no brake lights poss
fuse?any help would
be great thanks.

On mine the connectors were dodgy
Replaced with this from ebay

Cheap and worked a treat.
Other connections may be dodgy too

had the same on mine at one time check connectors to back lights
mine were found to be loose

Clean up the connectors and the bulb sockets, that normally does the trick. Is it only the brake light that doesn't work on one side? Everything else OK?

...........and if that doesn't do the trick try replacing the bulb holders


Another little trick, cable tie around the plug, keeps things together as you re-fit the bulb holder

Do you have a meter or at least a test lamp?

Brake lights - I'd try by-passing the switch on the brake pedal.

Side light - if front working its not fuse, must be bulb or poor connection somewhere? N/s or o/s ? on mine the number plate light is fed from the o/s, is that working?

You mentioned only one brake light not working, if this is this the case it would rule out the brake light switch. As Phillpot said, do you have a meter?
