Bonnet stay clip

Well, not exactly a clip but seems to do the job.....



Its an off-cut of 8mm silicone hose screwed to the bulkhead. Stays in a treat,no falling out like they do with the plastic clip

Mike, that's a really neat solution, I'm going to try that on my P & J,
Thanks for your great idea. On mine I also have a loop of cable tie to hook over the bonnet catch spring so it doesn't dislodge & fall on my head when I'm tinkering with the engine, or for extra security when it's windy.
