Missing a beat

Gentlemen, over the last few days my S2 has had a miss fire when coming off the throttle and then accelerating again. I'm sure its a fuel problem most likly due to using modern E5 ethanol fuel which has taken on water over the winter months. Has any one used Lucas Oil Products Fuel Flex ethanol fuel conditioner, which is supposed to resolve this problem as well as clean the system.
