I have been waiting for this weather to give the S a good clean, and then hit the road for a quality drive, and today was that day!

Ever since we had our 1st child just over 7 months ago, I have been struggling to get some quality time with the car, so today, I asked if I could take a half day at work, and I treated myself! I forgot just how amazing these little beasts are, she looked cracking after a good clean, so then it was out on some amazing Devonshire roads, with hardly any traffic about, clear blue skies, and that awesome V6 howl, what a great day! These TVR's are in my opinion, the best 'weekend toy' car for this money, I have driven some pretty nice new performace cars, and they just don't give tou the some pleasure, they are too polished, hooking the car up today on some lovely twisties felt brilliant, the feedback through the steering wheel, the punchy engine, the V6 note!! I just had a blast, I know that I will have to let her go this year, as I'm just not using her enough because of the baby, so every drive will now be extra special.

Here are some pics of todays trip..

I thought we could keep this thread going, if anyone has a great drive, take some pics, and share all! I tried telling the wife how great it was, but it went in one ear and out the other!!

Hi Wanacoop, car looks great, but then again, it is my favourite colour! Bought my first TVR (S3) last month but have been waiting for a good day to take it to work. Foolishly, I waited until today as I am going on holiday tomorrow with the family; fog all the way in, scorching sun at lunch (took my Colleague to the pub), then cloud all the way home. That's the North West for you!!

If I can figure out how to use this computer, my car should be visible here...

!!

Got loads of work to do on it, but I needed a hobby!!!

Did the same after fitting my new headlamps, gave her a polish and today is my second day driving her to and from work.
I have the following week off so hope it stay's fine for a few rides out to some National Trust sites.

What a great blast tonight. Out to surrey club meet, followed by night time sprint down A3 and through the hindhead tunnel. Fast and non pot holed roads - absolutely brilliant! The TVR is worth all the money and aggro! Feel like a 17 y o stupid kid again!
