During our little jolly to Spa mine has chaffed through and started leaking, so the options:

1. Ignore it

2. Try and seal it

3. Replace it

Guess 3 is the proper answer. It's an Intermotor 11330 eqivalent to Lucas DLB125, none of either on Ebay at moment but lots of Lucas DLB 198's listed for various cars with electronic ignition including RV8's so should work, shouldn't it?

Or should I go for one of those modern new fangled things that look more like a transformer and don't have any oil to leak? clicky

Your thoughts and or experiences will be appreciated.

Checked with Car Component Company (who have provided advice on alternatives for us before)they list 2 alternatives for the Lucas DLB125 available. By Intermotor and Cambiere about £19 plus vat plus postage. Contact Ian on 01254670121 if you want one.

You could wrap something around it to stop it leaking. I have a Red Bull can round mine, but I don't know where there is an empty one in the West Midlands.........................
