Way of the Exploding Hand Brake

Driving back from france last week in 36 degree heat, with the right foot nailed to the floor - I was a trifle surprised when it got so hot that my hand brake lever warped. Thus the spring loaded button shot out of the end like a bullet, ricocheted off the wind screen and missed me bonse by about half an inch. Haven't seen it since so I imagine it ended up in the outside lane around Rouen.
Anyone know where I can get a replacement ? Unfortunately my S isn't really suited to leven shiny bits as the interior is two tone red & black.

Now that you mention it you're right ... would almost be worth it just to fill the form in. It wasn't half loud off the windscreen !
