What is the best way to adjust the doors, they have dropped at the back by the striker. I've tried adjusting the bolts and can not get enough movement, is it poss to lift the whole door and alter the packing on the hinge bolt. The mounting for the bolts is new but the doors have dropped, any ideas please

If there's any 'play' in the door when you lift it while open this probably means that the door has dropped because the hinge bushes have worn too much. Means the doors have to be taken off and bushes replaced.

Not a difficult job particularly if you have the time and inclination. Bushes were relatively cheap and were available from TVR car parts, so probably means David Gerald has some now. If this is it, there are plenty of threads no here about how to do the work.

mine were like this and only needed plastic bobbins
now no droping ,tvr car parts

You've replaced the nylon bushes in the big metal bracket centre of picture?
You should be able to get enough adjustment playing around with the smaller bolts either side of the hinge bolts

Bushes were fine on mine, more likely the top bobbin came loose.
