2. make repair section from the mould

The front openings are subtly different on a V8S bonnet ( I know, I tried grafting a corner off one onto a V6 bonnet). You'd probably have to do a whole front end?

Another option would be to try and create something unique. Maybe move the V8 bulge to the centre and make it symmetrical and maybe add the S4C slots to the side.
