The time has come to sell my beloved s2. Had 4 years of great hooning and its never let me down. Got a really bad itch for a wedge that needs scratching!! It's on the classifieds section. Has anyone got any ideas or pointers to help me sell her? Factory fortnight coming up soon and hoping to have a wedge parked on the drive ready for some good run outs.
or has some good pointers / advice please let me know. Cheers Ben

Thanks for the posts. Will see if I can get a couple of pics of the engine bay, if the sun ever comes out for more than a minute....
Yeah I have had a drive in a 400se that's where the itch started. Getting over speed bumps would be a bonus, had a stainless exhaust on the s that fits snug up in the tunnel so not too bad over the nasty humps now.
Fingers crossed for some interest in the beast, cracking car to drive. Still makes me smile with that well known soundtrack rumbling out the back. :-)

From your first post I thought you meant you'd just advertised it, but now see the ad is 25 days old, any interest?couple of bits in the ad confuse me.....
"Chassis rubbed down and powder coated" ? has the car been totally stripped, can powder coat be applied "in situ" ?
New hood and screen but what is "the leather cover" ?
That's a nice looking car and a decent advert. As suggested some engine bay pics would be nice too...
I recently bought my S1 for £3800, it has less miles (37000) but that's not neccessarily a good thing! Yours looks a lot "fresher" that the one I bought so the price seems fair.
i suspect the awful weather we're having is putting people off convertibles which might explain the slow responses.

Now you may think I'm being picky but that ain't "powder coated" and I suspect the cover is leatherette/vynal?
If I were a prostective buyer I'd be thinking "doesn't know powder coat from waxoyl, leather from vynal, what else is not as described?
Not being "nasty" just my honest opinions. Hope you find a buyer soon, but as mentioned, not a good summer for selling open topped sports cars!
Im amazed you haven`t had much interest Ben,i owned this car for 8 great years, and never had any troubles.I spent a lot of money and time on this car,had the chassis ground down and repainted and found to be in very good condition.Ive had 2 very good v8 tvr`s since(v8s,wedge)and this is very much on a par with both of those cars performance wise and noise wise honestly.Mileage may put some people off but id buy a good, well looked after and used tvr over a low mileage unused example everyday, thats speaking from experience, good look with the sale mate.
