S2 Tyres

Having failed the MOT for tyres (slicks are bad apparently) I'm looking for some new rubber. BLACK CIRCLES seem cheap and local but I don't know which tyres to buy now the SO2s are no longer available.

I was thinking of the AVON ZV3s. Anybody got a better suggestion?

The SO2's are only 55 profile so you will lose some ground clearance, which most S's cant handle! I bought the Bridgstone Potenza RE720's and they are great, only about £75 fitted too!

I went for Dunlop Sport SP01s.They made a huge difference.

I have Michelin Pilot Sport 235, 45 x 18 on my every day transport and they stick like glue with 145 bhp TDi. Expensive tho when I had two replaced at £180 each. Not sure if they do a size to suit the S but I may look when the tyre on my S need replacing.
