Starter Motor

Damm Tvr`s. You drive them for 5 minutes then something else falls off!! This time, my starter motor has started sticking.

I have removed the offending part (what a job!!) and feel that I need to buy a new/second hand one instead of trying to fix mine.

Is the starter on my G reg S2 a stock late 2.9 Granada part or is it a manufactured TVR part?

Your help is appreciated.....Missing TVR posing already!

First check you earthing points and battery condition. It may seem like the solonoid is stick, but it may also be the case that you do not have enough current flowing to engage the thing properly. You will still get the clicking sound, but nothing will happen, just like it sticking.

Nothing other than the leads will get pretty warm!
