I always said that when my plastic ones broke I'd replace them with the Leven ones... two years down the line I still have the plastic ones...
Me too, but I'm re-covering the targa panels so now is a good time to do it I think. Trouble is £40 seems a lot of money.

It's not when you see them. Very well made, and fully adjustable, so you can ensure the roof is a perfect fit. Why not give Leven a call, or drop them a line..?

Sorry... personally don't like the shiny look on my S, all black interior with red piping.
Sorry boys I aint a magpie attracted to shiny silver things![]()
Similar thing for me actually - red and black interior - but I got fed up with the plastic ones being flimsy and looking awful. Could paint the leven ones black of course ...
Thanks WG - they don't look as neat as the original ones (that's no reflection on you WG just the fact that you can see the screw heads etc) but there is the praticality of them not breaking.
Hoover - Agree with you on the shiny bits thing somehow it's a bit out of character for the car.
Each to their own.
Think I'll stick with the original ones for now.

Yep, the black placky ones do look neat IMHO and everything is concealed. Mine seem to be adjusted fairly well and pull up tightly but I always feel that they could crack as I close them, perhaps they are too tight.
I'd rather hit my head on a plastic one in an accident too.
For those looking to change to the metal ones, I noticed them for sale at kit car shows and they were certainly cheaper than £40.
