I have 6yrs NCB, CAT 1 alarm, buts as Hoover33 says, I cover loads of miles in the S and it's my only working car. 15000 last year.
I tried classic insurance, but... I'm only 23 so I can't get it for a TVR.

I sympathise, its a load of dough Im sure you'd rather be using to buy beer, uprated mini bitz or S mods, but I think I stand tall as being the worst off here by a long shot at £2500
You already know that though, but if you'd like to hang out at my place one evening and eat some of the aforementioned boiled shoe soup I'll be eating for the next few weeks you're welcome
i live in city centre leicester, le3 post code. i rang around for days before i bought the car, then when i went to view it at my long lost friends house, (who had it six years!) he put me on to them.

Wow Rob, that is pretty harsh, but a V8S for your first car. Most of us do with a little hatch back, not a 5 sec 0-60 V8.
Actually, I put my mum on the insurance, and it knocked off around £200. If I put my fater on it goes up, he's been driving 40 odd years, never had an accident, taken many performance driving courses and used to drive Porsches.
Weird.

That is strange as I usually bring my wifes premium down a fair bit but then I'm an old git at 35!
Still 21 when behind the wheel of the S tho!

I was almost 21 and behind the wheels of an S! If only I had gotten it a few months before.
BattyS4C is 19 and behind the wheel of an S!
Sorry, I should have said that I still "feel 21" when I'm behind the wheel of my S!
