Does anyone know the orange S series at the bottom of p44 of this months Sprint?

I'm interested in the type of wing mirrors fitted so if it's your car or you know who it belongs to I'd be grateful for some more details on the mirrors, clearer photos, etc. I'm considering changing mine but I don't know what to and these look similar to some I've been thinking about.

Cheers,
L'rs

Hi Ian,
I've replied to your post on the TVRCC Devon forum ref the owner.
Here's a more detailed picture taken on the club's outing in July.

Thanks GB, that's perfect. Seeing the bigger pic reminds me that I saw that car in the flesh on the TVRCC stand at the NEC Classics show a couple of years ago... unless there are 2 like that which I very much doubt??!!

Cheers,

I have to admit I don't know a lot about the car's history. We did chat about the colour and the wheels .....
But any excuse to post gratuitous pictures of TVR's - here it is again at the TVRCC Olympic Rock handover, Devon & Cornwall!

Previous owner of my S had motor cycle race mirrors fitted on it.
I didn't like them and have the surviving one here. Will upload a photo, if you are interested and its yours.

Hi

The mirrors look very similar to some I fitted to a kit car I built several years ago now and came from Europa Specialist Spares....if you go onto their website and look in the online catalogue you will see a number of that type of mirror on there....I must admit to considering these myself. They worked well on the kit car..

Nice car......

I've never really been a fan of bright orange for a car, a bit too extrovert for me, but that just looks soooo right. It would go nicely with my bright orange balaclava ( I wear it when I'm in stealth mode ).

The wheels set it off nicely as well, as does the black trim.
I like it a lot.( FWIW )
