Hi everyone
I have some question.
My S distributor is motorcraft one.
I want to replace old distributor cap and rotor arm with new.
But I could not find out in ebay.
I know parts number distributor cap 6580693, rotor arm 1643692.

Where can I get new one?

Thanks

Maffe

No problem finding here in Sweden both at the lokal ford dealer and part shops.
Is it DIN or SAE?

There are two alternative distributor caps, one with male post connectors and the other with female sockets, as here:

Male posts: http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk/PartDetails.aspx...

Female sockets: http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk/PartDetails.aspx...

Rotor arm: http://www.ignitioncarparts.co.uk/PartDetails.aspx...

I'm not sure how it is for shipping to Japan though.

Search "Ford 2.9" or "Ford Scorpio" or "Ford V6"

Plenty on Ebay but they won't be listed as TVR S Series

Just to resurrect this, Can someone advise if the Motorcraft male socket cap can be simply changed for the female one...so new std leads can be used?
